Microsoft Learn achievements (badges, trophies, XP) and Microsoft Elevate status are related but separate.
On Microsoft Learn:
- Completing modules and learning paths earns Achievements (badges and trophies) and XP.
- These appear on the Achievements tab of the Learn profile and can be shared or shown in the public profile.
On Microsoft Elevate:
- Elevate uses its own member / explorer / expert / fellow status path.
- Learn badges and XP show the training that has been completed, but they do not automatically change Elevate status; Elevate has its own requirements and review process.
To make sure learning work is visible and usable:
- Verify that all achievements appear correctly in the Learn profile by going to the profile page and selecting Achievements in the left column.
- If desired, make the Learn profile public so others (such as program managers or employers) can see training history.
- Use the Transcript in the Learn profile to share a full record of completed modules, exams, and credentials when applying for programs such as Elevate.
If Elevate status needs to be reviewed or updated, contact the specific Elevate program support, as Microsoft Learn support only manages Learn profiles, achievements, and credentials.
