My personal Microsoft account has been added to an organisation’s Azure/Entra tenant without my consent. I need the tenant association forcibly removed please. The name of the organisation is "Mansoura University - Main". I cannot remove it. Please could you escalate to the Microsoft Identity team

Hi, thanks for looking to resolve this by way of the above. Unfortunately, I've tried the above steps without success. The MS OneCustomer Chat Support is ignoring my request for help. It simply does not respond to any input I put into it and keeps stating I'm next in line without any response. I also cannot access the page to leave an organisation as my account has no administration rights due to being a 365 personal premium account rather than a business account. I am flat out denied access to administer the account in this way. I have to say this is exceptionally frustrating that there is no escalation route that works for me to remove this unwanted, potentially harmful, intrusion. I cannot even find a way to complain to MS about this matter.

From what you’ve described, it appears that your account is currently in a state where the tenant’s configuration is preventing both access to the Organizations page and the ability to leave the organization. This can happen regardless of whether the account is a personal Microsoft 365 subscription or a work account, particularly if the tenant has restrictions or policies in place that block self-service removal.

In this situation, there unfortunately isn’t a method available from the user side or via the forum to forcibly remove the association. That type of change requires backend verification and must be handled through official Microsoft support.

You may want to try an alternative route to ensure your request is logged properly:

After selecting Get Home support (Personal & family accounts), describe the issue using terms such as: “Personal Microsoft account stuck as guest in external tenant – cannot leave organization or access Organizations page”

If available, select a callback or email option instead of chat, as this may avoid the queue issue you encountered

From your description, your personal Microsoft account appears to have been added as a guest user in the “Mansoura University - Main” Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) tenant. In general, this type of association can only be removed in one of the following ways:

Self-service:
- Try leaving the organization via the My Account portal: Leave an organization - Microsoft Entra External ID | Microsoft Learn
- Go to https://myaccount.microsoft.com > Organizations > Leave
Tenant administrator action: If the Leave option is unavailable, it typically indicates that the tenant settings do not allow users to remove themselves. In this case, the tenant administrator must remove your account from their directory.

If you’re unable to contact the organization or the tenant appears inactive, as noted in this similar situation, backend changes require verification and are handled through official support channels (Cannot close account because of linked organizations - Microsoft Q&A). In this situation, please contact Microsoft support from your personal account and request removal from the tenant (Contact - Microsoft Support )
