Hey there, Storm Maddern

With limited information, I am making the assumption you are meaning B2B accounts on Microsoft Entra. If so, yes, you can convert an internal account to an external account again. Please can you sign into the Entra ID blade here: https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_AAD_UsersAndTenants/UserManagementMenuBlade/~/AllUsers

Once you have signed in, please click onto your account you wish to convert back to an external user. Once the profile opens, please click onto the link "Convert to external user" under B2B invitation.

Then follow the instructions to convert them back to a B2B user.

Please be aware that you will need to accept the invitation again to be added back as a guest. Once you accept that notification, you will be able to use the tenant as a guest on that account.

For more information about this, please visit this article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/external-id/user-properties#convert-usertype

Hope this helps,
Nathan
