Problem when applying for the Expert Teacher Certificate

For issues with educator-related applications and access, support is provided through the Microsoft Learn for Educators (MSLE) channels rather than this forum. The exact decline reason cannot be checked here.

Take these steps:

1. If this is related to Microsoft Learn for Educators:
   • First review the program FAQ and eligibility details to confirm that the institution and account meet the requirements: Microsoft Learn for Educators Program FAQ.
   • Ensure the educator profile in the MSLE portal has the full institutional mailing address and an institutional email address (for example, ******@school.edu) set as the “School email.”
   • If access or application status still shows as declined or benefits are missing, open a support ticket directly from the MSLE Portal using the Help link (top of the portal). This routes the case to the MSLE resource team, who can review the application and explain the decline reason.
2. If the issue is with another educator or certification program (for example, MCT):
   • For Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) enrollment or renewal questions, use the MCT Portal and MCT Support options described here: MCT Program Requirements and MCT Renewal and Reinstatement.
   • Submit a support request or email the MCT program support address listed there so the support team can review the application status and provide clarification.

If none of the above matches the program in question, submit a general credentials support ticket so the correct team can investigate the declined status.
