Microsoft forces people to setup microsoft accounts to use a computer, which is a legal form of extortion. I have one where i need it, but, not everyone needs a microsoft account to set up a computer. Some of us like to have local accounts set up. Unfortunately, when you make security updates and force an update that turns on Bitlocker, if the computer that was updated only had a local account, you just bricked that computer. I have over 15 tablets setup for salesmen that were bought and paid for. I even have some of those with versions of office that were bought and paid for, but now some of those tablets are completely bricked. When Bitlocker is turned off in settings, which it was, and your update forces it on, YOU (microsoft) should be accountable for the lost hardware, time , and loss of business due to your greed and/or incompetence or both. Its a shame you force people to have Microsoft accounts for basic access to computers. Im so sick of dealing with yall, then cant ever get a person to talk to. One of the wealthiest companies in the world, and this is how you treat your customers. Thank the Lord for Linux and apple and capitalism. Your days are numbered. Im so frustrated you have prevented my business from operating and have cost me more time than you can imagine. I wish I had an easy solution, but all i have is this complaint, which may go nowhere, but at least yall know. Hopefully some decent soul at Microsoft will read this and feel responsible enough to do something.

This is the recent update that forced Bitlocker turn on. There was also one in the past that did it to one of our salesmen's tablets as well. but this one just did it to every computer running windows 11.
