A Microsoft service that provides website owners with tools to monitor, analyze, and optimize their site's performance in Bing search results.
Bing is aware of the URLs but is choosing not to index them because they do not yet meet Bing’s quality or webmaster guideline requirements. The message shown in URL inspection is Bing’s standard response when a URL is technically reachable but has issues that prevent it from being added to the index.
To move forward, the next steps are:
- Review and align with Bing Webmaster Guidelines
- Go through the Bing Webmaster Guidelines in detail to ensure the site fully complies with Bing’s requirements for quality, content, and technical setup. The guidelines also explain how Bingbot crawls and indexes pages and what can prevent indexation. See the guidance linked from the Bing Webmaster Tools help center and the webmaster guidelines page referenced in the Bing Search tools documentation.
- Ensure the site can be crawled and is up to date
- Confirm that robots.txt, meta robots tags, and HTTP status codes (200/301 vs 4xx/5xx) are not blocking Bingbot.
- If the site was previously redirecting to another domain (such as gravador.net), verify that this behavior has been removed or is configured correctly and consistently, and that the current content is stable.
- If Bing’s index is out of date for the domain, the webmaster documentation explains how to get Bing to crawl the site again.
- Use Bing Webmaster Tools correctly
- Continue to submit a valid sitemap in Bing Webmaster Tools.
- Use URL inspection only after verifying that the page is accessible and compliant with guidelines; the tool will continue to show the same warning until Bing’s systems reassess the site and determine it is eligible for indexation.
- If the site is new or recently changed
- Allow time for Bingbot to recrawl and re-evaluate the domain, especially if it previously redirected to another site. Indexation is not guaranteed and depends on Bing’s assessment of value, uniqueness, and compliance with guidelines.
If, after aligning with the Bing Webmaster Guidelines and confirming that nothing is blocking Bingbot, the site still remains completely unindexed over time, use the Bing Webmaster Tools help and how-to resources to look for additional troubleshooting or contact options.
