    Hi Liam Dettman,

Thanks for sharing the details. I understand how frustrating it can be when casting with Windows + K used to work normally, but now your PC can no longer connect to the TV.

To better understand the situation, could you please share a few more details?

    • When you press Windows + K, does your TV still appear in the list, or does it not show up at all?
    • Do you see any error message when the connection fails?
    • What is the brand and model of the TV?
    • Did this start after a Windows update, driver update, TV firmware update, or router/Wi-Fi change?
    • Are other devices still able to cast to the same TV?

In the meantime, please try these steps:

    • Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on: on your Windows 10 PC Wireless display/casting depends on Wi-Fi/Miracast, so please confirm Wi-Fi is enabled before trying to cast again.
    • Check the TV’s casting mode: On the TV, make sure Screen Mirroring, Miracast, Wireless Display, or a similar casting mode is enabled. Some TVs need to be manually placed into this mode before Windows can detect them.
    • Restart both devices: Restart the Windows PC and fully power cycle the TV. If possible, unplug the TV from power for about 30 seconds, then turn it back on and try Windows + K again.
    • Remove the old TV connection and pair it again: On the PC, go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices. Under Wireless displays & docks, select the TV or wireless display adapter, then choose Remove device. After that, press Windows + K and try connecting again.
    • Update display and Wi-Fi drivers: Open Windows Update and install any available updates, including optional driver updates if shown. You may also want to check the PC manufacturer’s support site for the latest Wi-Fi and graphics drivers.
    • Update the TV or wireless display adapter firmware: If your TV or Miracast adapter has a firmware update option, please install any available update and test again.

I hope these checks help restore the casting connection. While my initial response may not fully resolve the issue, I truly appreciate your cooperation as we work together toward identifying the most effective solution. Thank you so much for your understanding.
