After updating KB5094126, pressing Restart in the File Explorer in Task Manager will no longer result in a brief black screen.

Since updating KB5094126, pressing Restart in File Explorer within Task Manager no longer causes a brief black screen and the taskbar disappears; it closes immediately and jumps back to the desktop. Unlike before, when Restart in File Explorer within Task Manager caused a brief black screen, desktop icons briefly disappearing, and the taskbar disappearing before closing and quickly returning to the desktop, the desktop icons and taskbar now display quickly. Is this related to the KB5094126 update?

I haven't broken File Explorer or Task Manager.

Rest assured, you have not broken anything in File Explorer or Task Manager, I see the exact same behaviour after installing that update.

KB5094126 is the start of a new batch of Windows udpates that Microsoft are releasing to make Windows 11 better, more efficient and include new performance boost, they have added low latency profile that changes the way system processes interact with the processor to make many of the Windows processes faster, and that is the most likely cause of the new behaviour you are seeing.
