Outlook notification for each sent email

I have randomly started getting Outlook banner/sound notifications when I send an email in New Outlook. The notification looks and sounds like a new email notification, and it shows me as the sender, but it's simply a sent email being created in my sent folder. If I click delete on the notification, it deletes the email from my sent folder. For a little while it was also giving me a notification every time it auto-saved a draft, but that has now stopped. Nothing looks unusual in the notification settings either in Outlook or in Windows, so I'm wondering if it's a bug.

    Dear @Martha,

Thank you for sharing the details of your issue, I understand how confusing this behavior must be.

From my testing on the same environment, I’m not seeing this behavior where notifications are triggered for sent emails. Because of that, this may related to the application setup on your device.

To help resolve this, could you please try repairing and resetting the Outlook app by following these steps:

Go to Windows settings > Apps > Installed apps, then locate Outlook in the list. Click on the three dots (More options) next to it and select "Advanced options".

From there, please scroll down and first click "Repair". After the repair process is complete, check if the issue still occurs. If it persists, you can then proceed with "Reset" and test again.

These steps can help fix any underlying issues with the application components.

If the issue still persists after trying these steps, it would be very helpful if you could share a bit more detail (for example, a screenshot of the notification or any additional behavior you notice). This will allow me to better understand your environment and assist you more effectively.

Thank you very much for your patience, and I look forward to your update.
