Microsoft announced a couple of months ago they were deprecating Collections in Edge and advised people to move their Collections to Favorites, however after they released version 149 of Edge and removed the Collections functionality, that is no longer an option, and it is not possible to revert to a previous version of Edge, your collections should still be available on Bing on this link: https://bing.com/saves.

Full details on the deprecation of Collections are available on this link they provide.

Collections in Microsoft Edge are being retired, and behavior now depends on the account type and Edge version.

    1. What happened to the Collections
    • Starting with Edge version 145, adding new items to Collections is no longer supported.
    • Existing Collections content is not deleted immediately, but some items are moved or only accessible in specific ways.
    1. Where the data is stored and how to retrieve it

For work or school (AAD) accounts:

    • Collections are stored in the cloud and synced with the work/school account.
    • Existing Collections can still be viewed:
      1. Open Edge.
      2. Select Settings and more (… in the upper-right corner).
      3. Select More tools > Collections.
      4. Select a collection to view its content.
    • Web pages (URLs) from Collections may have been moved into Favorites:
      • They appear as folders in the root of Favorites, organized by Collection name.
    • For backup/offline use, Collections data can be exported (if enabled by the organization):
      1. Open Settings and more > More tools > Collections.
      2. Open the collection.
      3. Select More options (…) > Send to Excel.

    For personal (MSA) accounts:

    • Collections are now surfaced via Bing Saves instead of Edge.
    • Starting with Edge version 145, personal accounts cannot add new items to Collections in Edge.
    • Existing personal Collections can be accessed at https://bing.com/saves using the same Microsoft account.
    1. What is moved and what is not
    • Only saved web pages (URLs) are moved to Favorites.
    • Images, notes, and other non-page items are not moved to Favorites and remain only in the original Collections data until Collections is fully removed.
    1. What to do now
    • For work/school accounts: move important pages from Collections into Favorites or export Collections to Excel for backup.
    • For personal accounts: sign in to https://bing.com/saves to access saved Collections.
    • It is recommended to move or export important content before Collections is fully removed in a future release.
