Personal Microsoft account stuck in phantom organization, AADSTS5000225, cannot access myaccount.microsoft.com
My personal Microsoft account is associated with an organizational Azure/Entra tenant that has been blocked due to inactivity (AADSTS5000225). When I attempt to sign into myaccount.microsoft.com I receive the error "You can't sign in here with a personal account. Use your work or school account instead." I did not create or authorize this organizational tenant association. I am not a tenant administrator. The tenant does not appear anywhere in my account settings because I cannot sign in to view them. Microsoft's self-service tools show "No problems found" and do not detect this issue. Phone support routes me to aka.ms/pwr with no option to reach a live agent. I need escalation to the data protection/account team to manually remove the organizational linkage from my personal Microsoft account. This is a known issue pattern — a similar case was documented in the Microsoft Q&A community titled "Personal Microsoft account cannot be closed due to organization link (Error AADSTS5000225).
