Low battery notification always defaults to "Off"

Hi,

I usually start my day with my laptop unplugged and work off of the battery until I need to plug in the power cord. My low battery notifcation keeps defaulting to off in my settings and I always have to manually turn it on. Even when I lock my computer and log back in, it goes back to the default.

I go to Edit Plan Settings --> Change advanced power settings --> Battery --> Low battery notification --> On battery. Here, the setting for "On battery" defaults to Off and I always manually change it to On. If I don't, I do not get a warning and the laptop shuts down before I have a chance to plug in my charger.

How do I stop the low battery notification (on battery) to stop defaulting to off?
