How to pull off my certifications from my highschool account years later

Certifications and transcripts are tied to the Microsoft account (personal, work, or school) that was used when the exams were taken. Access to those records requires the ability to sign in to that same account or to a Microsoft Learn profile that has those credentials.

If the certifications were earned through Microsoft Certification exams and the account can still be accessed:

1. Sign in to the Microsoft Learn profile that was used in high school.
2. Go to the Learn profile page and select Credentials to see certifications, or Transcript to see and share the transcript.
3. From the Certification Dashboard, use View Certificates to download certificates, or View Transcript to download or share a transcript.

If the certifications or exams are missing from the current Learn profile:

1. Confirm that the correct login account is being used. If multiple Microsoft accounts exist (personal, school, or work), sign in with each to find the one that holds the certifications.
2. If the credentials still do not appear and they are not legacy or Certiport-only credentials, contact Microsoft Credentials Support for help with missing certifications.

If the original high school account (for example, a school-issued Microsoft 365 account) or personal Microsoft account can no longer be accessed and cannot be recovered using the Microsoft account self-service tools, access to the associated Learn profile and its data (including certifications) is lost. Microsoft Credentials Support cannot recover or transfer the contents of a Learn profile when the underlying personal Microsoft account cannot be accessed.

To attempt account recovery if the username or password is forgotten:

1. If the Microsoft account username is forgotten, follow the guidance in Forgotten your Microsoft account username.
2. If the username and password have stopped working, follow My username and password have stopped working.
3. If the password is forgotten, use Reset a forgotten Microsoft Account Password.
4. If recovery still fails, use the Microsoft Account Help self-service as the only available path.

Once access to the correct account is restored, certifications and transcripts can be viewed and shared from the Learn profile and Certification Dashboard as described above.
