I've been posting comments for years. Now, the last couple months or so, every time I log in to post, it takes me to another page to log in and so on and so on and so on ...

Beyond frustrating and annoying.

The repeated sign-in loop when trying to comment is typically caused by sign-in or cookie issues in the browser.

    Try these steps in order:

    1. Make sure the full email address and password are correct when signing in, and that the Microsoft account service is healthy.
    2. Ensure the browser allows cookies and site data for Microsoft sites:
      • In Microsoft Edge or Chrome, enable cookies and do not block third‑party cookies.
      • Add microsoft.com and microsoftonline.com to the list of sites that can always use cookies.
    3. Clear browser cache and cookies, then sign in again:
      • In Edge: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data → select Cookies and cached files → Clear, then open a new InPrivate session and try again.
      • In Chrome: More tools → Clear browsing data → select Cookies and cached images/files → Clear data.
    4. If using Internet Explorer or older Edge, ensure microsoft.com, support.microsoft.com, login.live.com, and login.microsoftonline.com are either all in Trusted Sites or none of them are, so cookies can be shared correctly.
    5. If the loop persists, try another browser or a private/incognito window to rule out extensions or a corrupted profile.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, use the site’s built‑in Help/Feedback or Contact support options to report the sign‑in problem so it can be investigated on the service side.
