The error indicates that, for at least one fixed asset being migrated, there is no matching FA Depreciation Book record with the combination:

  • FA No. = '' (blank)
  • Depreciation Book Code = 'IFRS'

In Dynamics NAV/Business Central, every fixed asset that uses a depreciation book must have a corresponding FA Depreciation Book entry keyed by FA No. and Depreciation Book Code. During migration/import, this error typically occurs when:

  1. The FA Depreciation Book line for that asset and book code has not been created.
  2. The FA No. is missing/blank in the FA Depreciation Book table.
  3. The Depreciation Book Code in the migration data does not exactly match the code in the system (e.g., 'IFRS ' vs 'IFRS').

To resolve:

  1. Verify FA Depreciation Book setup
    • Open the FA Depreciation Book table/page.
    • Filter on Depreciation Book Code = IFRS.
    • Confirm that each fixed asset being migrated has a line with:
      • FA No. = the asset’s number
      • Depreciation Book Code = IFRS
  2. Fix blank FA No.
    • If any FA Depreciation Book lines have a blank FA No., update them to the correct FA No. or delete and recreate them correctly.
  3. Align migration data
    • Ensure the migration/import file populates both FA No. and Depreciation Book Code for all FA Depreciation Book records.
    • Confirm that the Depreciation Book Code in the file is exactly ‘IFRS’ (no extra spaces, correct case if relevant).
  4. Re-run the migration
    • After correcting the FA Depreciation Book entries and the migration data, rerun the migration process.

If the error persists for a specific asset, identify that asset in the migration batch, then check that its FA No. and IFRS depreciation book line exist and are consistent across all related tables.

We checked all, and found not irrigulars, Therefore we un-tick the "Validation" ind Conf. Pack. for Depreciation Book "IFRS" and then it worked.
