Use the Microsoft account Services & subscriptions page and the Copilot subscription tools to locate where Copilot Pro was purchased and how it is linked.
- Check where Copilot Pro was purchased Copilot Pro subscriptions can be purchased either directly from Microsoft or through a third‑party retailer/app store. To find where it was purchased:
- Go to the Services & subscriptions page for the Microsoft account currently in use.
- Select the Manage button for Copilot Pro if it appears. If the subscription was purchased through Microsoft, management options will be shown there. If it was purchased through a third‑party retailer or app store, selecting Manage will redirect to that provider’s website.
- Verify the correct Microsoft account identity Because Microsoft 365 Premium appears but Copilot Pro does not, the most likely scenarios are:
- Copilot Pro was purchased under a different Microsoft account (for example, another email alias or Microsoft account using the same Gmail identity).
- Copilot Pro was purchased through a third‑party retailer or app store and is managed there, not on the Microsoft account Services & subscriptions page.
- Confirm Copilot Pro subscription status Once the Copilot Pro subscription entry is found:
- Use the Manage link to confirm whether the subscription is active, its renewal date, and whether recurring billing is on or off.
- If recurring billing was turned off and the subscription expired, turn recurring billing back on if continued use of Copilot Pro is desired.
- Align Copilot sign‑in with the correct subscription After identifying the correct account or provider for Copilot Pro:
- Ensure Copilot and Copilot Tasks are signed in with the same Microsoft account that owns the active Copilot Pro subscription.
- If Copilot Tasks is currently signed in with a different account (for example, the account that only has Microsoft 365 Premium), sign out and sign back in with the account that shows Copilot Pro on the Services & subscriptions page.
If Copilot Pro still does not appear under any known Microsoft account and the subscription cannot be located via the Services & subscriptions page or third‑party retailer, contact Microsoft support using the Get Help app and provide details of the issue so that the subscription can be investigated and corrected on the backend.
