The error during AZ-900 registration and payment is commonly caused by an issue with the exam delivery account (for example, a Pearson VUE account block such as ERROR_VUE_WIDE_BLOCK, often due to multiple failed payments) or a problem on the exam provider’s side.
Use these steps:
- If the error appears on the Pearson VUE pages (scheduling or payment):
• Contact Pearson VUE Support directly for Microsoft exams so they can check whether the account is blocked and remove any block if needed:
– Pearson VUE Support (technical issues with exam delivery):https://support.pearsonvue.com/Selfhelp/s/?clientCode=MICROSOFT&language=en_US
– Pearson VUE Support (appointment and scheduling issues):https://home.pearsonvue.com/microsoft/contact - If the error appears on the Microsoft Learn / Certification site before reaching Pearson VUE:
• Go to Credentials Support and follow the “Microsoft Certifications and Microsoft Certification Exams” section to open a support request:https://aka.ms/Credentials-Support(linked from the Credentials Support page).
• Use the “For all other Microsoft Certification issues” option if none of the more specific categories fit. - If the error message explicitly tells to contact site support and persists after retrying in a different browser or network, do not keep retrying payments; contact support as above so they can investigate the account and transaction history.
If the issue is a Pearson VUE account block, only Pearson VUE Support can lift it; retrying on the Microsoft Learn site will not resolve it.
