We deployed an urgent security patch to 500 corporate workstations through MECM. Most devices processed the deployment successfully, but approximately 40 systems remain stalled in Software Center. Their deployment state is flagged in red as "Past definition deadline," yet no installation activity is occurring and the execution engine appears idle.

Hi Verma Arjun,

Please clear the C:\Windows\ccmcache folder to remove corrupted binaries and restart the CcmExec service to force policy re-evaluation. If the issue persists, you should verify WMI repository integrity and confirm correct boundary group assignments. For unresolved cases, performing a clean repair using ccmsetup.exe is recommended to overwrite the client configuration and restore functionality without manual registry modification.
