How do I upload photos from my phone to my pc

Follow these steps in Windows 10 to import photos when nothing pops up automatically:

1. Connect the phone with a USB cable that supports data transfer (some cables only charge and won’t transfer files).
2. Turn the phone on and unlock it. Windows can’t see the device if it is locked.
3. On the phone, if a prompt appears asking to allow access or to “Trust this computer,” confirm it.
4. On the PC, select the Start button, then select Photos to open the Microsoft Photos app.
5. In Photos, select Import (usually at the top right), then select From a connected device.
6. Choose the phone from the list, wait a few moments while Windows detects photos, then select the items to import and where to save them.

If the phone still doesn’t appear:

• Try a different USB port on the PC.
• Try a different USB cable.
• Make sure any required USB mode on the phone (such as “Transfer photos” or “MTP”) is enabled.

As an alternative, photos can also be uploaded to OneDrive from the phone and then accessed on the PC using the OneDrive app or a browser.
