Retake the exam after 12 months

The exam retake policy only defines when and how often an exam can be retaken; it does not provide for reusing or transferring the fee from a failed attempt to a new attempt.

Key points from the policy:

• If an exam is failed the first time, it can be retaken after 24 hours.
• Each retake must be scheduled and paid for separately, if applicable.
• Microsoft does not offer refunds for exams that are not passed or for missed appointments.

Because of this, the fee paid for the original Azure Fundamentals exam attempt cannot be reused now. A new exam booking and payment are required for another attempt.
