A unified data governance solution that helps manage, protect, and discover data across your organization
Hi @RAMENGHI, Silvia ,
Items shown under "pending dispositions" have already reached the end of their retention period and are queued for review based on the label applied at that time.

If you relabel those items afterwards (e.g., from TEST to FINAL), the list is not updated in real time. The pending dispositions view behaves more like a snapshot of items already in the disposition stage, and any changes rely on background reprocessing rather than immediate recalculation.
For your scenario:
- Relabeling 300 items will not instantly reduce the count from 1500 to 1200.
- Over time, some items may be re-evaluated and no longer appear under the TEST label, depending on policy processing - but this is eventual, not immediate, and may not fully align with expectations.
In practice, it’s best to treat pending dispositions as a review queue already generated, rather than a dynamically updating list. If accurate scoping is critical, consider:
- Reviewing label assignments before items reach disposition.
- Exporting/revalidating the disposition set before taking action.
- Allowing time for policy reprocessing after bulk relabeling.
