I don't see a way to turn off my pause 1 week in window 11 updates.

Hello, I’m Virginia a fellow Windows user.

Under Windows updates there should be the option to resume updates again, if not then can you supply a screenshot of what you’re seeing?

Otherwise right click Start & choose command prompt with admin & enter: Net Start wuauserv or use powershell/terminal with admin & enter these commands:

Set-Service -Name wuauserv -StartupType Automatic

Start-Service -Name wuauserv

To turn off (cancel) a 1‑week pause on Windows 11 updates, use Windows Update settings:

    1. Select Start > Settings > Windows Update.
    2. If updates are currently paused, there will be a banner showing that updates are paused and when they will resume.
    3. On that banner, select Resume updates (or similar option) to immediately turn off the pause and allow Windows to check for and install updates again.

If the pause period has already reached its limit, Windows 11 will automatically resume updates; in that case, the pause control will no longer be active and updates will proceed normally.
