why does my messages not load?

I understand how frustrating this can be, especially when Teams takes a long time to load and messages are not appearing properly.

Regarding this situation, kindly try the following suggestions to check what might have caused the issue:

1. Check Teams on the Web

• Before making any changes, open https://teams.microsoft.com in your browser and see if your full chat history shows up there. This will help confirm whether the issue is with the desktop app or with the messages themselves.

2. Sign out and sign back in

• Open Teams, select your profile picture at the top right, then select Sign out.
• 
• Make sure Teams is fully closed check the system tray near the clock to confirm it's not still running.
• Reopen Teams and sign back in.

3. Clear the Teams Cache
