Cannot link discord to Xbox from discord app, or via the "Linked Accounts" section on the Android App

So i bought xbox gamepass ultimate, and then when i tried to connect discord to xbox from the discord connections section, it said Connected your xbox account to discord, then in discord it was in the Step 2 of 2 part, saying xbox want to access your discord account, and when i clicked authorize and continue, it just says "Oops something went wrong, cant link your xbox account. After that i tried going in the "Linked Accounts" section in the android app, the page simply says Something Went Wrong, and nothing else. Tried reinstalling both the discord and xbox on android, tried discord web, but everytime the same error.
