Hello @Priya Jayaraman
Based on my research, I found an incident that matches your description: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/images-are-not-displayed-in-emails-newsletters-or-signatures-in-classic-outlook-74600b12-905a-4f2c-9de5-ba295a675216
To help confirm this, could you please check whether you are using Classic Outlook version 2604 (Build 19929.20164)? If so, I recommend reviewing the article above and following the suggested steps to verify whether you are experiencing this issue:
- Open the email in classic Outlook.
- On the ribbon, select Move > Actions > Other Actions > View Source.
- Search the email for cid and locate the tags below.
<v:imagedata src="cid:image001.png@01DCE6B1.CF669A40" o:title="" /> <w:wrap type="topAndBottom"/>
If you see an image like this that is not rendering, it likely means you are experiencing this issue. Once a fix is released, images in the original message should display normally. However, replies or forwards may permanently miss the image, as it was not included.
While Microsoft continues to investigate, you can work around this by avoiding the use of the “Top and Bottom” wrap option when inserting images.
Hope this info helpful. Please let me know how it goes or if you have any further updates.
