Minecraft Builders Cape not showing up after redeeming (44 hours now)

I redeemed the Builder Cape code back on May 31 around 1:41am GMT and it went through fine. Now when I try to put in any Builder Cape code it just tells me "Looks like you already own this" with error code PUR-UserAlreadyOwnsContent. So my account definitely owns the cape at this point. The problem is it still won't show up in my Owned Capes list on the Change Skin and Cape page.

I'm on Java. My other capes like Pan and Common show up totally fine so it's just the Builder Cape that's missing. I know it has to be manually selected but it's not even there for me to pick.

It's been about 44 hours since I redeemed it so I'm way past the normal sync window everyone talks about. Ownership is clearly confirmed on Mojang's end but the cape just isn't displaying so I can actually use it. Anyone run into this and figure out how to fix it?

I am also experiencing the same problem. Got the code, entered it in, it worked, but no cape, and can't put the code in a second time. It appears on Bedrock edition, but not java.

For me I went through tiktok to get the cape got the code and put in the code on June 1st yesterday it's only appearing on bedrock edition

Launch bedrock and equip it in game. Apparently it later comes to your Java skins after you do it on bedrock. Same thing happened with the copper grate cape

Same here i also claimed the cape but when i try to equip it from the minecraft website the cape is not showing up there but my other capes are still here

Hey, i got the same problem but i figure out how to get it. Here are what i do:

First you go to your Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (make sure you are sign in to the account with the code redeemed)

Go to the cape section on the Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and equip it

Close the Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and go to the Minecraft Launcher

On the Java Edition, there should a "Skins" part under the word MINECRAFT:JAVA EDITION,. Click on that and hover on the skin that you are using, there should be a "..." option, click that and choose edit

Choose the Builder cape then Save & Use

The cape should be in your Skin and Capes on the website now

just equip it on bedrock and after that it should appear on your minecraft profile site

I just had the same issue and thx to some research I was able to get the cape in the java edition.

Basically just launch bedrock and equip it on game (you do that by going to the dressing section and then capes section)

Then just save it and close the bedrock launcher and the Minecraft launcher.

Then just reopen the Minecraft launcher and it should appear. (in case u don't know, to see all the capes u have available in java edition just press new skin in the "skins" section.

If you don't see the cape, make sure you have played in the java version before and just reopen bedrock version, make sure you have the cape equipped, and play for a couple of minutes. Then just close everything again and see.

What if you don't have/can't run bedrock, like if you don't have a device that support running bedrock?

This worked! I had to make sure that I logged into a world in Bedrock for some reason. That fixed it. I equipped it multiple times in Bedrock, logged into a World, then opened up Java. Closed it, then selected the Builders Cape in the Skin menu. Took a bit to get it synced but it works
