I attended the Microsoft Virtual Training Day: Secure and administer Microsoft 365 Copilot and Agents on 29th May 2026 and there was a 50% discount on the M365 Fundamentals exam in the follow-up email, however this exam no longer exists. Is there an alternative?

Also, I requested if the slide deck used in the presentation would be made available and I was told it would. However, I received the on-demand link only. Are slide decks not available?

The 50% discount from Microsoft Virtual Training Day events is tied to a specific eligible exam and is applied automatically to the Microsoft Learn profile for the email address used to register for the event. The discount terms (including which exam it applies to and any alternative exams) are defined per offer and are not overridden automatically if an exam later changes or is retired. The available context does not specify an alternative exam when the originally promoted exam is no longer available.

To use the discount, sign in with the same email used to register for the Virtual Training Day and proceed to exam checkout; any eligible discount associated with that event email is applied automatically at the final stage of checkout.

Regarding the slide deck: for Virtual Training Day events, the documented follow-up benefit is the exam discount applied to the Learn profile. The available context does not describe a standard process for distributing slide decks; receiving an on-demand recording link is consistent with typical practice, and there is no documented guarantee that slide decks are always provided.

If the expected discount is not appearing at checkout, or if clarification about an alternative exam or slide availability is needed, the next step is to contact event support or Pearson VUE support (for exam/voucher issues) using the contact options referenced in the certification FAQs.
