Previous answer said to contact rewards customer service because my $25 Starbucks reward came with a zero balance, but I have not been successful in reaching a person.

Hello Krisse Arthur,

Sorry you're going through this. What usually gets a real human to look at it is resubmitting that form with more detail than a one-liner — include the order or redemption number from your Rewards order history and a screenshot of the Starbucks app showing the $0 balance. Single short submissions tend to get only the automated reply, while detailed ones eventually reach a person.

It's also worth contacting Starbucks customer service in parallel, since sometimes the code activates fine on Microsoft's side but fails to load on Starbucks' end, and that's something they can correct directly.

Use the dedicated Microsoft Rewards support channels, as only they can investigate and fix a zero-balance reward code.

    1. Submit a Microsoft Rewards Support request
      • Go to the Rewards Support page: https://rewards.bing.com/support
      • Sign in with the Microsoft account used for Microsoft Rewards.
      • Select “Contact Microsoft Rewards Support.”
      • Choose the appropriate category (for example, issues with a redeemed reward or gift card).
      • Provide details about the $25 Starbucks reward, including date of redemption and that the code shows a zero balance.
      • Submit the form.
    2. Use Microsoft Support “Get Help” to reach an agent
      • Open the Get Help app on Windows (search for “Get Help”) or go to Microsoft Support online.
      • Type something like “Microsoft Rewards gift card zero balance.”
      • When the Virtual Agent responds, type “Talk to a person” or “Agent.”
      • Choose Chat or “Call me back” (if available in the region) and explain that the Starbucks reward code has a zero balance and that Rewards Support needs to review it.

If contact forms or appeal options are disabled or greyed out for the account, further escalation may not be possible through Rewards Support, and general Microsoft Support (via Get Help) becomes the only remaining path to speak with a live person.
