Other features or issues related to Microsoft Partner Center
The email indicates that the current Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partner (Endurance International Holding B.V.) is no longer authorized as a direct-bill CSP in that country/region. In this situation, subscriptions associated with that CSP need to be moved under a different, authorized partner to avoid impact.
For Microsoft 365 subscriptions, the supported path is to work with another authorized partner or reseller and have them take over as Partner of Record (POR) for the subscriptions. The Microsoft 365 admin for each tenant can:
- Identify or choose a new partner/reseller:
- As an admin, sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center and go to Settings > Partner relationships.
- If there is an existing partner listed that is still active and authorized, that partner can continue managing the subscription.
- If a new partner is needed, use one of the official options:
- Work with the chosen partner to have them added as the partner of record for the subscription. The partner may send a reseller relationship request that the admin must accept.
For Azure subscriptions under CSP, the transfer from one CSP to another follows a defined process:
- Ensure the new CSP partner has (or will have) a reseller relationship with the customer tenant. This is required before any transfer.
- The customer must be in the same country/region as the partner.
- The current CSP partner (Endurance International Holding B.V. or its successor entity) is responsible for opening a support ticket with Microsoft to initiate the transfer of Azure subscriptions to the new CSP.
- The customer, current partner, and new partner complete and sign the required Change of Cloud Solution Provider form and attach it to the support request.
- After Microsoft processes the transfer, the new partner removes the old partner and any outdated access permissions.
If the current CSP is no longer operating or cannot be contacted, the admin should prioritize identifying a new CSP partner (using the partner search and/or Volume Licensing contact options above) and then work with that partner and Microsoft support to ensure subscriptions are not cancelled.
For the personal Microsoft 365 subscription (for example, under a @gmail.com account), if it is a direct consumer subscription (purchased directly from Microsoft, not via CSP), it is managed independently of CSP and can be viewed and managed at the account’s services and subscriptions page. In that case, CSP changes do not cancel the consumer subscription itself.
