Even though your file is under 10MB, the upload can fail due to server traffic, unsupported special characters in the filename, or browser compatibility issues.

Try these quick fixes:

  • Rename the file: Remove any special characters or spaces from the file name (e.g., use my_certificate.pdf instead of my@certificate #1.pdf).
  • Switch your browser: Many portal uploads do not process correctly on Safari or Microsoft Edge. Use the most recent version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
  • Use a desktop or laptop: Mobile devices and tablets often struggle with uploading documents due to screen scaling and permission limitations. Switch to a computer if you are using a phone.
  • Clear cache/Incognito: Use an Incognito/Private window or clear your browser’s cache to bypass website glitches.
  • Check the server: If the portal is handling a high volume of traffic, you might encounter a temporary server timeout. Try refreshing or submitting again.
