Hi @Senthil kumar,

Since your company account signs in without any issues, while the personal account only fails when added as an additional account, this situation appears to be related to the Teams desktop app, most likely a cache or sign-in issue, rather than a problem with your work account itself. As Microsoft Teams currently supports multiple work, school, and personal accounts within the same desktop app, this setup should function as expected.

To help resolve this, you may try the following steps:

1/ Ensure Teams is fully updated:

First, please confirm that you are using the latest version of Teams. To do this, click on your profile picture and select “Check for updates.” Although Teams typically updates automatically, running an older version can sometimes lead to sign-in issues.

2/ Test the personal account via Teams on the web:

Next, open an InPrivate or Incognito browser window and sign in with your personal account at teams.microsoft.com. If the account works correctly on the web, this usually indicates that the account itself is functioning properly and that the issue is likely related to the desktop client.

3/ Reset the Teams app on Windows:

If the issue persists, you can try resetting the Teams app. Please go to:

Settings > Apps > Installed apps > Microsoft Teams > (…) > Advanced options > Reset

Resetting the app helps clear the cache and is often recommended when dealing with loading or sign-in problems: Clear the Teams client cache.

4/ Add the personal account again:

Finally, after completing the steps above, try adding the personal account once more. Simply click your profile picture in Teams, select “Add another account,” and sign in again. This is the supported way to manage multiple accounts in the Teams desktop application.

For reference, you can see: Manage accounts and organizations in Microsoft Teams

I hope these steps help resolve the issue. Please give them a try, and feel free to let me know the outcome. If you have any questions or need further assistance, I would be more than happy to help and look forward to your update.
