Other features or issues related to Microsoft Partner Center
Validation for hardware driver submissions in Partner Center is not instantaneous and can take up to several business days, especially if manual review is required. The dashboard documentation states that all hardware submissions are processed within five business days, depending on whether the submission requires manual review.
A two‑hour wait in the Validation stage is within the normal processing window and does not indicate a problem by itself. The submission should continue automatically through Validation and Catalog creation once policy checks and any required reviews complete; there is no separate manual trigger that can be requested from the client side.
If the submission remains stuck for an extended period (for example, approaching or exceeding the documented processing window) or later shows CommitFailed/other errors, the next step is to contact Hardware Program support so the submission can be investigated:
- Sign in with the enrolled Hardware Program Partner Center account and open a case via Microsoft Engage Center (recommended for fastest resolution).
- If sign‑in or enrollment is an issue, use Partner Center support instead.
For ongoing automation or monitoring, the Microsoft Hardware API can be used to query submission status programmatically (for example, using the get-a-submission endpoint to check commit and validation status).
