Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
My computer has restarted three times in the past week and are all caused by the same driver at the same address (ntoskrnl.exe+4f8450). Would like know what I need to do stop the crashes.
Recent motherboard/processor/memory swap to 7800x3D, DDR5 32 GB, B850 motherboard running Windows 11 Home 10.0.26200 Build 26200. Graphics card is a NVIDIA 3080 10GB.
Did a Windows reinstall through Windows Update.
Installed latest BIOS.
Installed the latest NVIDIA drivers
Installed latest chipset drivers.
/scannow had no errors.
No errors on C drive after running a chkdsk.
Memory passed memcheck86 both at default settings and with EXPO on.

ntoskrnl.exe in the bug check stack does not by itself identify the root cause. It is the Windows kernel and appears in almost all crash dumps. The context indicates that repeated blue screens and unexpected restarts on Windows 11 are typically caused by:
Given the recent platform swap (new CPU, DDR5, motherboard) and that core checks (sfc /scannow, chkdsk, memtest) and driver updates have already been done, the next steps are to systematically isolate hardware/driver causes and ensure the system is stable under Windows 11:
These steps align with Microsoft’s recommended process for repeated stop code errors and unexpected restarts on Windows 11, where ntoskrnl.exe is often only the last component on the stack rather than the root cause.
