This is becoming bothering me after an incomplete system update a week back, I couldn't understand the reason or cause of it.

The text on the desktop is the normal watermark that appears when running a Windows 11 Insider Preview build. It shows that the device is on a pre‑release “evaluation copy” (in this case, Build 26220.8544 from the Beta Channel), not a problem caused by the incomplete update.

    Key points:

    • For Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel, a desktop watermark in the lower‑right corner is expected behavior for pre‑release builds and indicates that the build is based on Windows 11, version 25H2 via an enablement package.
    • This watermark does not mean the Windows license is lost or invalid; it only indicates that the installed build is a preview/evaluation build.
    • Features and experiences in these builds may change, be removed, or never be released, and some may not be fully localized yet.

If the watermark is bothersome and Insider builds are no longer desired, the device must be moved off Insider Preview builds (for example, by rolling back to a previous non‑Insider build within the allowed period or performing a clean install of a non‑Insider Windows 11 release). When running a regular, non‑Insider release build, this watermark will not appear.

As AI answer that watermark is there because you have insider preview build installed.
That is also mentioned in release announcement.
