How to get my previously completed certifications

Use the Microsoft Learn profile and official certification support to retrieve completed certifications; registration IDs alone are not enough.

Follow these steps:

1. Check your Microsoft Learn profile
   1. Go to your Learn profile.
   2. Select Credentials in the left column.
   3. On the Certifications tab, look for the certifications associated with your exams and use View certification details to see and download/share them.
   4. If needed, select Transcript to view a full history of exams passed and active certifications; this can be printed or digitally shared.
2. Make sure you are using the correct account
   1. If certifications are missing, verify that you are signed in with the same Microsoft account used when registering for and taking the exams.
   2. If you may have used multiple accounts (personal, work, or school), sign out and try each possible account on Microsoft Learn.
   3. If the congratulations or exam emails went to a different address than the one you are using now, that is a strong indicator the certifications are on another Learn profile.
3. Handle multiple profiles (if applicable) If certifications exist under a different profile and need to be consolidated, use the account-linking approach described in the Q&A example:
   1. Sign in to a school/work Learn profile and link the personal profile that currently holds the certifications.
   2. Wait for the migration banner to confirm that certification and training progress has moved.
   3. Optionally remove the linked profile, then link this school/work profile to your preferred main profile to complete the transfer.
4. If certifications still do not appear
   1. Review the Missing Exams or Certifications guidance to confirm that:
      • The exams actually grant a certification (some exams may be standalone or retired).
      • The certifications are not legacy items that have aged out of the program.
      • The exams were not taken through Certiport (those do not appear in the Learn profile and must be managed via Certiport).
   2. If, after checking accounts and requirements, certifications are still missing, contact Microsoft Credentials Support and open a support request so the team can look up records using your registration IDs and candidate details.
5. If the exams were taken via Certiport
   • Certifications earned through Certiport are not shown in the Microsoft Learn profile.
   • Manage and download those certificates directly from your Certiport account, or contact Certiport Customer Service for assistance.
