Hi,
My icons from the right side of the taskbar are missing. I can't see any settings in taskbar behaviour or Time & date to return them back. I tried restarting windows explorer, run explorer shell, cleared cashe items from TrayNotify and nothing helps. When I install the latest updates, I must use bitlocker to switch on my computer. Anyone had similar experience?

I had the same. My only solution was
This worked on two computers. But on one of the computers I had to run the command twice (meaning DISM, not the 3017 error, reboot, DISM, reboot).
Are all icons on the system tray on the right side of your taskbar missing, please provide a screenshot of the problem, this is most likely caused by a Windows update.
Open the Settings app, go to Windows Update - Update History, what is the KB number of the latest Windows updates installed on your system.
Correct Dave, there are no icons at all.

This one failed to be installed, first time I tried on 27/05/2026, and the issues started next day.
Thank you for that information, KB5089573 is an optional preview update that does not need to be installed and it is causing many problems, even though it may fail to install, the best option is to open the Settings App.
Go to System - Recovery.
Click the 'Reinstall Now' button in the 'Fix problems with Windows Updates' section, then wait for that process to complete.
