Intermittent Google Account Logouts in Edge Beta

I reset Edge beta on a Windows 10 computer.
After syncing and logging into my Google accounts, for some unknown reason, I would be completely logged out every so often (I was logged into more than one Google account).

I have configured to clear cookies when closing the browser, but I have added [*.]google.com to the whitelist.

Also, I've tried completely clearing cookies and logging back into Google, but I still get logged out unpredictably. It seems that if I'm idle for a period, it automatically logs me out.

Env:
Windows | 10 x64
Edge | 149.0.4022.33 beta x64

Microsoft Edge | Profile, sync, and sign in | Windows 10

    Hi 観月唯

Even though you’ve added [*.]google.com to the exception list, Google authentication relies on multiple domains (e.g., accounts.google.com, googleapis.com, YouTube, etc.). If any of these cookies are cleared or not preserved correctly, you’ll be signed out.

Since you also have “clear cookies on close” enabled, it can still remove other required session cookies.

    What you can check next:

    • Add all key Google domains manually under Sites that can always use cookies, including:
    • Enable “including third-party cookies” for those entries
    • Ensure third-party cookies are not fully blocked
    • Test with “clear cookies on close” temporarily disabled to confirm the cause
    • If the issue persists, try a new Edge profile to rule out profile corruption

If the problem only occurs on Edge Beta, consider verifying on the Stable channel to determine if it’s build-specific.
