To disable only the AvePoint Cloud Backup for Power Platform subscription while keeping the other AvePoint Cloud Backup services active, the subscription that must be disabled needs to be managed individually in the Microsoft account or Microsoft 365 admin center, depending on how it was purchased.
Use the following approach:
- If this is a personal/consumer subscription (purchased with a Microsoft account):
- Go to the Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account that was used to purchase the AvePoint Cloud Backup for Power Platform subscription.
- Locate the specific AvePoint Cloud Backup for Power Platform subscription in the list.
- Select Manage for that subscription.
- Turn off recurring billing or select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, depending on what is shown) for that specific subscription only. This cancels or stops renewal of that one subscription without affecting the others.
- If this is an organization (business) subscription in Microsoft 365:
- Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?linkid=2024339.
- Sign in with an admin account.
- Go to Billing > Your products.
- Find the AvePoint Cloud Backup for Power Platform subscription (it may appear as a separate product/plan from the other AvePoint Cloud Backup services).
- Open the subscription details page.
- In Subscription and payment settings, select Delete subscription (or equivalent cancel option) for that specific subscription only and complete the deletion/cancellation steps.
- Do not modify or delete the other AvePoint Cloud Backup subscriptions so they remain active.
If the subscription was purchased through a third party (for example, a cloud marketplace or reseller), cancellation must be done through that provider’s billing/support channel rather than directly in the Microsoft portal.
Canceling or deleting the subscription does not remove the Microsoft account or tenant; it only affects that specific subscription. The other AvePoint Cloud Backup services remain active as long as their subscriptions are not canceled.
