Thank you for the screenshot.

I'll try updating BIOS

Yes. Update the BIOS to the latest version following Gigabyte's instructions. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Just one detail: Version F16a is a test version, so install version F15 first. If the problem persists, then install version F16a.

After updating the BIOS, download the latest Chipset driver from the link below and install it.

https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B760-DS3H-rev-10/support#Support-Driver

Driver name: Intel INF installation

Version: 10.1.19899.8597

(Extract the ZIP file, and double-click the file mb_driver_665_infupdate_10.1.19899.8597 to run it. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.)

Then, restart (not shutdown) your PC and see if the system will work stably.

If the crash occurs again after doing this, please share the dump file it created.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

LiveKernelEvent code 124 corresponds to the bug check WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (0x124), which is typically caused by a hardware problem.

    From the provided context:

    • Bug check 0x124 is usually related to physical hardware failures.
    • Common causes include:
      • Overheating (insufficient or failing cooling, dust, poor airflow).
      • Defective hardware components (RAM, CPU, motherboard, or other devices).
      • Overclocking (CPU, GPU, or memory) or undervolting.
      • Less commonly, a faulty driver that causes hardware to fail.

    Recommended actions based on this:

    1. Remove overclocking
      • If any CPU, GPU, or RAM overclocking is enabled (including XMP/EXPO profiles), disable it in the BIOS/UEFI and run at default settings.
    2. Check cooling and temperatures
      • Ensure all fans are working and that heatsinks and vents are not blocked by dust.
      • Confirm that CPU and GPU temperatures stay within safe ranges under load.
    3. Run hardware diagnostics
      • Use system or OEM diagnostics to test memory (RAM) and CPU.
      • If available, run extended memory tests to check for defective RAM.
    4. Check drivers and devices
      • Update or reinstall device drivers, especially for chipset, storage, and graphics.
      • If a specific device was recently added or a driver recently changed, revert or remove it and test.

If freezes continue, collect and analyze the WHEA dump (WHEA-*.dmp) with Windows debugging tools as described in the WHEA and bug check documentation to identify which hardware component is reporting errors.

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

This behavior can occur for several reasons. It is necessary to investigate.

Please see if your computer created minidump files.

    These files are in C:\Windows\Minidump.

(If you don't have a Minidump folder, check if it is in the plural Minidumps.)

Copy any files you have to your desktop and store them in a ZIP file. Then, upload the ZIP file to the cloud (OneDrive), choose to share it, and get the link.

Then, post the link to the ZIP file here so I can have a look.

    Looking forward to your reply.
