    Hi @Bob Peterson

Good day. Thank you for reaching out, and I appreciate you sharing the details of your situation.

Before we go any further, I’d like to gently clarify that this is a user to user support forum. I’m not part of the Microsoft billing team, so I don’t have the ability to directly cancel subscriptions or intervene on billing matters. That said, I truly hope I can help review your situation, offer some guidance, and support you in finding the right next steps as best as possible.

You may choose one of the options below that best suits your needs:

Option 1: If your subscription was purchased directly from Microsoft

    1. Sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/services with the same Microsoft account that was used to purchase the subscription > Services & subscriptions
    2. Locate your Visio Plan 2 subscription and select Manage.
    3. Select Cancel (in some cases, the option may appear as Upgrade or Cancel), then follow the on-screen steps to complete the cancellation.
    4. To check whether your charge may be refunded, ensure that the subscription must be canceled first. Refund eligibility is assessed during the cancellation process, and not all cancellations result in a refund. Eligibility depends on factors such as the timing of cancellation, the subscription type, and the country/region of purchase.
    5. If you see Turn on recurring billing instead of Manage or Cancel, that generally means the subscription is already set to expire and you should not be charged again after the expiration date shown.

    For you references;

Option 2: If this is a business/work subscription for Visio Plan 2

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center using the account that manages the subscription (If you're not an admin, please contact your organization's administrator to proceed on your behalf).
    2. Go to Billing > Your products.
    3. Select the Visio Plan 2 subscription you want to manage.
    4. Choose Cancel subscription. Depending on the billing setup, you may see options such as Cancel now or Cancel before the next renewal date. In some billing scenarios, if the cancellation window has passed, Microsoft may only allow you to turn off recurring billing so the subscription ends at the end of the current term.
    5. Before canceling a business subscription, please save any necessary data, as you can lose access once the cancellation becomes effective, and remaining customer data may later be deleted according to Microsoft’s retention timelines.

For your reference: Cancel your Microsoft business subscription in the Microsoft 365 admin center | Microsoft Learn

If the subscription was purchased through a partner or reseller, please contact that seller/partner directly for cancellation support. If it was purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store, cancellation and refund requests must be handled through those providers.

    Option 3: Contact Support

Should you need additional assistance related to the cancellation of your subscription or refund eligibility, I recommend reaching out to Microsoft Billing Support directly:

I hope this information is helpful. Should you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to share them in the comment below. I'm very happy to help.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

To cancel a Visio Plan 2 subscription for home use, cancel the underlying Microsoft subscription associated with it.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Go to the Subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the same Microsoft account used to buy Visio Plan 2.
    2. Locate the Visio Plan 2 (or the corresponding Microsoft subscription entry) in the list of services.
    3. Select Manage.
    4. On the next page, select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel, depending on what is shown).
    5. Follow the on-screen steps to complete cancellation.

If the subscription was purchased through a third-party retailer (for example, Google Play, Apple App Store, or another reseller), contact that retailer’s customer support to cancel and request any refund, as Microsoft cannot cancel those directly.

    For refund eligibility:

    • After canceling, check refund options using the guidance in the refund article. Not all cancellations result in a refund, and prorated refunds depend on country and subscription terms.

If the Visio Plan 2 subscription is part of a Microsoft 365 for business tenant and managed by an admin, the admin must cancel it in the Microsoft 365 admin center:

    1. Go to https://admin.microsoft.com and sign in with an admin account.
    2. Navigate to Billing > Your products.
    3. Select the Visio Plan 2 subscription.
    4. In Billing settings, choose Cancel subscription, then select whether to cancel now or at the next renewal.

For business subscriptions with MCA or MOSA billing accounts, refund and cancellation windows vary; if cancellation is not available online, contact support as indicated in the admin documentation.
