GH-300 Certification Not Appearing in Microsoft Profile

For GH-300 and other Microsoft/GitHub certifications, exam results normally appear in the Microsoft Learn profile within 24–48 hours after the exam. Since the exam was completed on 24 March 2026 and the certification is still not visible, follow these steps:

1. Confirm the credential was actually earned
   • Not every exam automatically grants a certification. Check the GH-300 exam or certification details page in the Microsoft Credentials catalog to verify that passing GH-300 results in a certification and not only an exam result.
   • Remember that exams themselves are not shareable credentials; only certifications and Applied Skills appear as shareable credentials. Exams are instead visible on the transcript.
2. Verify the correct Learn profile and sign-in account
   • Ensure sign-in is with the same account used when registering for and taking the GH-300 exam.
   • If there might be multiple Learn profiles (for example, one with a personal Microsoft account and another with a work/school account), sign out and try all possible accounts that may have been used for exam registration.
   • If a “congratulations” email was received, use the profile link in that email and confirm whether the certification appears there. If it does not, it may have been associated with a different profile.
3. Check for missing or legacy certifications
   • Some older or legacy certifications no longer appear in Learn profiles. Use the certification details pages to confirm that GH-300 is still an active certification and expected to show in the profile.
4. If still missing, contact Credentials Support
   • Because the certification is not appearing after the normal processing window and the correct profile has been confirmed, raise a case with Microsoft Credentials Support so they can investigate the specific Candidate ID and Registration ID and correct the record if needed.
   • Use the Microsoft Certifications and Microsoft Certification Exams support channel under Credentials Support and provide:
     • Full name as on the exam
     • Candidate ID
     • Registration ID
     • Exam name (GH-300 – GitHub Copilot)
     • Exam date
     • Learn username and the email associated with the Learn profile

If the exam was taken through Certiport rather than Pearson VUE, note that Certiport-based certifications do not currently sync into Microsoft Learn profiles and must be managed and shared separately via the Certiport account.
