The discount is tied to the Microsoft Learn profile for the email address used to register for the qualifying event/training, and it is applied automatically at checkout when scheduling the eligible exam.
Based on similar reported cases and official guidance:
- Ensure that the Microsoft Learn / Certification profile being used to schedule DP-900 is created with and signed in using the same email address that received the 50% discount eligibility (the Gmail address mentioned).
- Make sure the Microsoft Learn account associated with that email has been active for at least 48 hours. In a prior case, the 50% discount for DP-900 appeared automatically only after the Learn account had been active for more than 48 hours.
- When scheduling the exam, follow the standard flow:
- Go to the DP-900 exam page and select “Schedule exam”.
- Sign in with the correct Microsoft Learn profile (matching the event/eligibility email).
- Proceed through the registration until the checkout page with Pearson VUE.
- If the discount is correctly associated, the 50% discount will be applied automatically at the final stage of checkout; no manual voucher entry is required.
- If the discount still does not appear and the event was very recent, wait up to five business days after the event/webinar; discounts are sometimes applied to the Learn profile only after that processing window.
- If all of the above conditions are met (same email, >48 hours account age, >5 business days after event) and the discount still does not appear at checkout, open a support request through the Microsoft Credentials support channel so the team can check and synchronize the discount on the account.
