Hello Paul,
Thank you for posting question on Microsoft Windows Forum!
Well! Your MCP ID and MCSE certifications are still recognized, but Microsoft probably no longer uses the old MCP login system. All certifications are now managed through your Microsoft Learn profile, where you can confirm validity, access transcripts, and share credentials. In fact, your MCT status is separate from your certification transcript. The MCT program is an annual membership, and if it has expired you must reinstate it, renewal/reinstatement also requires a valid, unexpired MCT-qualifying certification in your Microsoft Learn profile.
To check whether your legacy credentials are already on the new profile, sign in to Microsoft Learn (Use the Microsoft account you registered exams with. If you do not recall, try all possible past email addresses.) and open Profile → Transcript. The transcript will show completed certifications and modules, and it can be viewed, shared, and printed from the Learn profile. For existing MCSE credentials, they remain on the transcript even after retirement, and later move to the inactive section.
The recommended path is to try signing into Microsoft Learn with every past exam-related email. If unsuccessful, call Microsoft support for account recovery. Once linked, your MCP and MCSE will show in your Learn profile and can be shared digitally. Please visit this link https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/support/help for credentials support.
