It’s a very long story (which I’m fine with explaining) but I had to move out into my grandparents leaving quite literally everything but my Xbox and some of my clothes. I was using my account for about 2 weeks until I tried to sign in one day and the password was changed. I had to make a whole new Apple ID and get a new phone number with my move to my grandparents so now I’m logged out of my account and there’s no live representatives to help me. I’ve reached out to the only person (old bf of my moms) to try and get my phone but he hasn’t even answered, furthermore I’m to scared to even talk to my mom about that, as her Gmail is my backup Gmail. Please can someone help me just get back into my Microsoft account I’ve had it since I was 8 and I can answer any questions about my account needed or anything like that. You can reach me at ******@gmail.com

The only supported way to regain access to a personal Microsoft account in this situation is to use Microsoft’s official recovery and sign‑in tools. No one in the community or on Q&A can directly unlock or modify the account.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Use the Microsoft account sign‑in helper
      • Go to the Microsoft account sign‑in helper: Microsoft account sign-in helper.
      • Start the guided flow. It will ask for the email/phone/Skype name of the locked account and then show the correct recovery options.
    2. If the account is hacked or the password was changed by someone else
      • Use the official hacked/compromised account guide: How to recover a hacked or compromised Microsoft account.
      • This guide walks through:
        • Securing devices
        • Resetting the password (if possible)
        • Checking for suspicious changes (forwarding rules, aliases, etc.) once access is restored.
    3. If there is no access to old phone number or backup email
      • Use the Microsoft account recovery form: https://account.live.com/acsr (linked from the support articles).
      • Sign in with a different email address that is accessible now (for example, the new Apple ID email or a new Outlook.com address) so Microsoft can contact there.
      • Provide as much accurate information as possible about the old account (past passwords, subject lines of emails, Xbox usage details, etc.).
      • If the form is rejected, try again from an InPrivate/Incognito browser, a different device, and a different network, and double‑check all answers for accuracy.
    4. If sign‑in issues continue
    5. When recovery fails repeatedly
      • If the security info on the account (phone/email) has been fully replaced by someone else and the recovery form cannot be passed, support articles and Q&A moderators indicate there is no alternative method to override the automated checks or manually force recovery.
    6. Contacting Microsoft support
      • For additional help with the process (not to bypass verification), use the general Microsoft account help page and its “Start” guided tool: Get help with your Microsoft account.
      • If sign‑in is not possible with the old account, sign in with any other Microsoft account (or create a new one) to reach a support agent, as described in the Q&A references.

There is no email address or live agent channel that can skip the recovery form or manually prove identity outside these official tools. All recovery must go through the documented Microsoft account recovery and hacked‑account flows.
