How to edit my contact email

The contact email for exam- and certification-related activities is managed through the Microsoft account / Microsoft Learn profile, not directly in Azure DevOps. The exact change depends on what was entered incorrectly:

1. If the wrong email was used as a Microsoft account alias
   1. Go to the Microsoft account info page: https://account.live.com/names/manage.
   2. Sign in with the current account.
   3. Under Your info, choose Add email to add the correct email address, or Add phone number if needed.
   4. After adding the correct email, select Remove next to the incorrect address if it should no longer be used.
2. If the wrong email is just a contact in Outlook (for scheduling or communication)
   • Outlook desktop:
     1. Open Outlook and select People on the Navigation Bar.
     2. Double-click the contact that has the wrong email.
     3. Edit the email field and any other details.
     4. Select Save & Close.
   • Outlook on the web / Outlook.com:
     1. Open Outlook on the web and select People from the side panel.
     2. Select the contact, then choose Edit contact.
     3. Update the email address and other information.
     4. Select Save.
3. If the wrong email is in the Microsoft Learn profile used for exams
   1. Add the correct login email to the Learn profile as an additional sign-in.
   2. Set the preferred email for communications in the Learn profile settings.

If the issue is specifically that the legal name or identity information tied to the exam account is wrong (rather than just the email text), contact Credential Support as indicated in the exam/credential communications, as name changes are handled by that team.
