APIM metrics missing for weeks

APIM metrics in Central US region completely missing. Last metric showing is April 23 3AM.

I cannot seem to open a support ticket and Microsoft seems to not be aware of this.

Follow-up questions to narrow this down:

Are all metrics missing or only specific ones (e.g. Requests vs. Capacity vs. CPUPercent_Gateway)?
All metrics are missing

Is your APIM instance deployed inside a VNet or using a private endpoint?
No VNET - my APIMs are all consumption based

Have you recently enabled forced tunneling or modified UDRs?
No, I have not made any changes to the APIMs

Do other Azure resources in Central US still emit metrics normally?
Yes. Other resources seems fine. I only have issues with APIMs - total three of them - all consumption based, two in Central US, one in South Central US.

Did you notice any related errors in the Activity Log around April 23?
No, I did not find any errors in the Activity Logs in the last 30 days. APIM seems to work, just metrics are missing.

Hi @Julius Dietmar ,

We have engaged APIM backend team to investigate and mitigate the issue.

Due to an internal change to the metrics infrastructure, metrics could no longer be published to Azure Monitor, resulting in dropped metrics. A mitigation has been implemented for the issue, and the service has been recovered and APIM metrics flow returned to expected levels and monitoring data became available again.
