Hello,

Im global admin in new tenant, but after couple of invites I received error with message:

Microsoft.Graph.Models.ODataErrors.ODataError: Invitations are blocked for this directory due to suspicious activity.

How to sort it?

The error indicates that external invitations from the tenant are being blocked at the service level due to suspicious or policy-violating activity. This cannot be fixed solely from the portal by a global admin.

To sort it:

Verify that the tenant and its users are not engaging in activities that violate the Microsoft Online Services Acceptable Use Policy. If there is any automated or bulk inviting, or other unusual behavior, stop it immediately.
As global admin, open a support case with Microsoft so the service team can review and, if appropriate, remove the block:
- Go to the Microsoft 365 or Azure/Microsoft Entra admin portal.
- Use the Support/Help section to create a new support request describing the error message and that invitations are blocked due to suspicious activity.
Wait for Microsoft support to complete their investigation and confirm re-enablement of invitations. If they determine there was a policy violation, they will provide remediation guidance.

If the tenant itself has been marked inactive or blocked more broadly (for example, similar to an inactive tenant scenario), the same approach applies: only Microsoft support can reactivate or unblock it after validation.
