AHHH! Why was my Windows 11 q&a question automatically deleted? PART I

The question was most likely caught and deleted by the automatic spam detection system on Microsoft Q&A, not because of an intentional Code of Conduct violation.

Microsoft Q&A uses automated filters plus human moderation to detect spam, phishing, malware, off‑topic or otherwise non‑compliant content. These filters can sometimes generate false positives and automatically delete legitimate posts. This is consistent with other cases where normal technical questions were auto‑deleted and later restored after a moderator review.

Because regular users cannot delete their own content and cannot see deleted items, the only way a normal question disappears with a Code of Conduct message is via moderation or automated detection.

To get the post back and find out what happened:

1. Go to the deleted question’s page (if you still have the URL) and verify it shows the Code of Conduct deletion message.
2. Report the situation so a moderator can review and restore it if it was deleted by mistake:
   • On any visible question or answer, select the Report (flag) option.
   • In the Report a concern dialog, choose a reason such as Other and explain that a Windows 11/Acer question was auto‑deleted and appears to be a false positive.
   • Optionally provide an email address so the moderation team can notify about the outcome.
3. Alternatively, post a brief meta‑question in the Community Center / Discuss the Q&A site area (without external links or long logs) asking a moderator to check why the specific question was deleted. Mention that similar cases have been restored after being flagged as spam by mistake.

If the deletion was due to AI‑usage or other policy enforcement, moderators can also restore the content or explain the issue, and there is an appeals path for deletions and suspensions related to AI usage.
