URGENT MS Edge Missing / files corrupted - FIX THIS

Latest Insider Prev broke my system. MS Edge is not loading. Files are corrupted and missing. I've spent 4 hrs to get it to a workable state by wiping it and now it's doing it again. Fix this mess.

    1. you have to stop the broken update cycle .
    2. check the windows update if then check for repair windows system files properly
    3. remove the bad insider build if possible
    4. make sure you are using stable edge version

    Repair Corrupted Windows Files

    Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run these one-by-one:

       DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

    Wait until complete.

    Then run:

       sfc /scannow

    If it says files were repaired:

    • reboot
      • run sfc /scannow again until it reports no integrity violations

    Hi Michelle,

    Have you tried repairing Edge itself

    under Apps, Installed Apps, click the 3 dots

    and try Modify.
