Outlook for Mac 2024 "New" no longer pulling Display Names from Google, Apple

I have 3 Google accounts and one Apple account. Until recently, they all had Display Names coming across on Outlook. But something broke and now only the 2 MS accounts have proper Display Names. I've checked on the Google/Apple side. That's all correct.

Thoughts?

FWIW, this is the CoPilot response:

"Display names for non-Microsoft accounts in Outlook for Mac are controlled per account inside Outlook, not by the Google/Apple contact names once the account is set up.

For Outlook for Mac 2024, the display name that recipients see is configured in the account’s Personal Information:

  1. In Outlook for Mac, go to Tools > Accounts.
  2. Select each of the affected accounts (the 3 Google accounts and the Apple account) one by one.
  3. Under Personal Information, check the Full Name field.
  4. Update Full Name to the desired display name for each account.

After this change, new messages sent from those accounts will use the updated display name, regardless of what is set on the Google or Apple side."

This is a non-answer as there is no Full Name field. These accounts were imported by login, not establishing IMAP settings.

Display names for non-Microsoft accounts in Outlook for Mac are controlled per account inside Outlook, not by the Google/Apple contact names once the account is set up.

After this change, new messages sent from those accounts will use the updated display name, regardless of what is set on the Google or Apple side.

If the issue is related to Google account integration more broadly (for example, recent changes in how Google accounts sync with Outlook), review the known issues for Google accounts in Outlook for Mac to confirm there are no current limitations affecting how account data is pulled into Outlook.
